Tynan Pratumwon
A glass artist heavily inspired by historic techniques and designs, Tynan has a learned from an international set of mentors, working in museums, factories, educational facilities, and as private assistants for artists in the United States and Europe. Growing up in Iowa, Thailand, and Minnesota, he values a very useful object, and likes to create work that the most amount of people will have the chance to interact with. His bi-cultural upbringing influenced a Midwestern ideal of a tactile object that is regularly enhanced by a Thai desire for ornamentation and precious materials.
Rachel Francescon Barroso
Glass artist turned interior designer, Rachel has developed an incredibly complex sense of design, Growing up in a Brazilian metropolitan on the edge of one of the wildest regions in the world, she was immediately immersed into spaces full of life, color, and vibrant patterns. In her teens she lived briefly in Montreal, and for a full year in the southern tip of the Gulf of Mexico, in Villahermosa, In the United States, she has lived in Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, and Connecticut, finishing her Bachelor’s at the University of Minnesota in Interior Design. Her work is generally characterized by classic forms and ideas reworked to fit a modern environment.
